Stockholm

Shot in two locations, Stockholm sets up a disturbing premise of a seemingly normal older man who has a dark secret… locked in his basement. This short film also serves as a proof-of-concept for a feature film.

The antagonist of the film lives in his deceased mother’s house. The design of this location adds an unsettling aspect to the film. The wallpaper and vintage furniture were brought in to give the house an out-dated feel.

The decoration for the basement (below) was influenced by the Silence of the Lambs basement set, as well as the basement from 10 Cloverfield Lane.
