Jazz Cavities II
Jazz Cavities is a mixed-media short film for music artist Emmitt James. I was the Production Designer and Miniature model designer for the claymation and live-action parts of the film.

To achieve our “Rocky Horror shot”, I took a standard dentistry mouth model, added a tongue, and painted the teeth/gums to look more realistic.This was probably my favorite shot of the film!
The Miniature
All four walls of the miniature set fly away so that the claymation scene could be shot from all angles. To achieve this, the whole set sits on a raised balsa wood frame.
I thought that the green wainscoting would make for a more dynamic look!
