Prop Fabrication

I made this prop tombstone with multiple layers of 1” insulation foam which was weathered to look like stone, and hand-carved the lettering. Inside the layers of foam, I added a wooden base with stakes attached to the bottom to ensure that the prop was heavy enough to be interacted with and not wobble around or fall over.

You can watch the full process in the video below!

This “Han Solo” prop gun was made from a blue and orange toy gun, to which I added weight for a realistic feel. The grip was painted to look like glossy wood, and the main frame of the gun was given multiple layers of metallic spray paint, then sanded and chipped to achieve the weathered look.

Check out the weathering process below!

The above set pieces were carved from foam insulation squares, then painted with acrylic.

These 4’x4’ squares serve as samples for full-sized wall pieces.

These large, fully-functioning props were created for an ad for Looney Tunes featuring internet personality Zach King.

These props started as simple plastic decorations from a party store, and were transformed into the above creations with aging techniques.

I made this larger-than-life human mouth model by taking a standard dentist model, painting it to be more realistic, then adding a tongue I made out of foam model.
